Casio SE-G1 FAQ's


With a few basic steps the Casio SE-G1 is easy to use. Please find below the most frequently asked questions:

"Help! Screen Is Just Flashing 0"


This is the most common question we get asked. All you need to do is press 0 and then press CA/AMT/TEND.

"Display Reads E10"


E10 is the paper sensor - a new till roll needs loading.

"I Can't Put A Sale Through!"


1. Till must be connected to mains power

2. Mode key must be in the REG postion

3. Screen must be display 0.00 with no error mesages

4. Enter price of item or sale using the 0-9 numeric key pad (no need to enter decimal point)

5. Press one of the department buttons

6. Repeat procedure untill all items have been entered

7. Press SUB TOTAL button

8. Enter amount tendered using the 0-9 numeric key pad

9. Press the correct tender button (CA/AMT TEND for cash)

10. Dispense change as displayed on screen

"How To Do End Of Day Report?"


Turn key to Z and press CA/AMT/TEND.

"How Do I Process A Refund On The Casio SE-G1?"


1. Till must be connected to mains power

2. Mode key must be in the RF postion

3. Screen must be display 0.00 with no error mesages

4. Enter price of item being refunded using the 0-9 numeric key pad

5. Press the relevant department button

7. Press SUB TOTAL button

9. Press the correct tender button (CA/AMT TEND for cash)

10. Return to REG mode
